What we do with your information.
ColoHunter is a NexusLink company. When you send us a request, we use what you tell us to find and engage data center providers for that request. We share it with the providers and partners needed to get you a quote. We do not sell it.

Who we are
This website, colohunter.com, is run by NexusLink Partners LLC. In this policy "we" and "us" mean ColoHunter and NexusLink. The policy covers this website only.

What we collect
We collect what you type into the request form: the deployment or project you describe, the regions or metro you choose, your term and timeline, and your name, work email, company, phone number and notes if you provide them.
If you email us, we keep your message and your address.
The site does not use analytics, session recording or advertising, and it does not set cookies.
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, the pages requested and the time of each request.
The site loads its fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser fetches them from Google directly, so Google sees your IP address and browser type, as it does for any website that uses its fonts.
How we use it
We use your information for one purpose: to find providers that can meet your request, get pricing and terms from them, and stay in touch with you about it. We also use the server logs to keep the site working and secure.
We do not use it to send you unrelated marketing.
Who we share it with
We cannot get you a quote without telling providers what you need. We share your request, and your contact details where a provider requires them, with:
- the data center providers that fit your request;
- the distribution partners we work through, as far as needed to register the opportunity with a provider and obtain a quote;
- NexusLink, our parent company, whose staff may handle your request.
Each of them receives your information for that purpose only.
Some companies run parts of this site and our business for us: Vercel hosts the site, Neon stores the requests you send, Resend delivers the email that tells our team a request has come in, and Capsule holds our customer records. They handle your information on our behalf.
We may also share information when the law requires it, when it is needed to protect our rights or someone's safety, or with a buyer or successor if the business is sold or merged.
Where it is processed
We are based in the United States, and our service providers process information there. They may also process it in other countries where they operate. If you visit from outside the United States, your information will be processed in the United States.
What we do not do
We do not sell your information. We do not rent or trade it, and we do not hand it to anyone for their own marketing.
When you sign with a provider
Any contract you sign is between you and the provider. From that point the provider's own terms and privacy policy cover what it does with your information.
How long we keep it
We keep requests, and the contact records we make from them, for as long as we are in touch with you or working on your request. After that we keep them only as long as we need to for legal, tax or accounting reasons.
You can ask us to delete your information sooner.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or tell us to stop contacting you. To do any of these, . We may need to confirm who you are first, and we may have to keep some information, for example where the law requires it.
Depending on where you live, the law may give you other rights over your personal information. We will honor any request it requires us to.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and we limit access to requests to the people who handle them. No website or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot promise that information will never be seen by someone who should not see it.
Children
This site is for businesses. It is not meant for children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change what the site collects or how we use it, we will update this page and the effective date shown on it.
